Ozonated Water — A Wash, Not An Ingredient

Ozonated water is water infused with ozone gas (O3). Ozone is a strong oxidiser that has been used for decades in food processing, water treatment and hospitals to wash produce and equipment. Afterwards it reverts to ordinary oxygen.

In our process, ozone is bubbled through purified water until saturated, and that water is used to wash produce before pressing. It is a cleaning step in production. It is not something we add to your bottle as a drink ingredient, and we do not claim any health effect inside the body from it.

Ozone has been affirmed by the US FDA as Generally Recognised As Safe for direct food contact since 2001. Applicable Australian food standards are confirmed separately for our production.

Because cold-pressed juice is unpasteurised, washing produce before pressing matters more than it does for a heat-treated drink. But a wash is not sterilisation — see below.

Ozonated water produce washing
🥬

It's A Produce Wash

A standard step before pressing. It removes soil and surface residue from produce that has come straight off the farm.

💨

No Sanitiser Taste

Ozone reverts to oxygen rather than leaving a persistent residue, so a raw juice still tastes like the fruit and vegetables in it.

🦠

Not A Steriliser

A wash reduces surface load; it does not sterilise a finished raw juice. Short shelf life, refrigeration and clear dating are what actually keep our juice safe.

Note: published research on ozone inside the body relates to separate medical or dental treatments, not to drinking a juice made from ozone-washed produce. We make no such claims.

Beetroot

Used in: Beetroid

Beetroot is one of the richest natural sources of dietary nitrates. The body converts those nitrates to nitric oxide, which is why beetroot features so heavily in the diets of endurance and strength athletes. Beetroid uses fresh-pressed beetroot rather than a concentrate, which is where its deep purple colour and earthy flavour come from.

Beetroot juice is widely used around training. The literature on nitrates and exercise is broad, but published results vary considerably between individuals, doses and study designs — so we describe beetroot as naturally nitrate-rich rather than promising a specific outcome.

🥬

Dietary Nitrates

Naturally present in fresh beetroot. The reason this juice is a staple gym-day drink for many people.

🎨

Betalain Pigments

Give beetroot its intense purple colour. Note: beetroot can temporarily tint urine or stool — that is harmless and normal.

🔥

Paired With Ginger

Raw beetroot is very earthy. Ginger, lemon and honey make Beetroid taste like a drink rather than a dare.

⚠️

Worth Knowing

Beetroot is high in oxalates. If you have a history of kidney stones, or take blood pressure medication, check with your doctor before drinking it regularly.

Ginger

Used in: Beetroid, Immuni-Tea, Immuni-Fire

🔥

Gingerol

The compound responsible for fresh ginger's characteristic warmth and pungency. Ginger is widely studied as a food ingredient, though results vary across studies.

👅

The Flavour Role

Ginger brings heat and spice that cuts through earthy beetroot and sweet honey. It is the reason these blends are drinkable rather than medicinal-tasting.

🍽️

A Culinary Staple

Ginger has been used in cooking and traditional drinks across Asia for generations. Our use of it is culinary and flavour-driven.

🌡️

Warming Sensation

Fresh ginger produces a genuine warming mouthfeel. In Immuni-Fire that warmth is amplified by cayenne.

💆

Fresh-Pressed

We press fresh ginger root rather than using powder or extract, which keeps the flavour bright and spicy rather than dusty.

⚠️

Worth Knowing

Ginger can interact with some medications, including blood thinners. If you take regular medication, check with your doctor or dietitian before consuming it daily.

Lemon

Used in: Beetroid, Immuni-Tea, Immuni-Fire, Golden Fire

Lemon does two jobs in these blends. Nutritionally, it is a natural source of vitamin C. Flavour-wise, its acidity is what makes earthy, bitter or spicy ingredients drinkable — it lifts the whole blend.

🍋

Natural Vitamin C

Fresh lemon juice provides vitamin C, an essential nutrient your body cannot make itself.

🔬

Helps Mineral Absorption

Vitamin C is well established to improve absorption of plant-based (non-haem) iron — one reason lemon and beetroot are a classic pairing.

⚖️

Balances The Blend

Acidity cuts through turmeric's bitterness, beetroot's earthiness and honey's sweetness. Without it these drinks taste flat.

⚠️

Worth Knowing

Citrus is acidic and can soften tooth enamel over time. Drinking through a straw or rinsing with water afterwards is sensible if you drink citrus juice daily.

Honey

Used in: Beetroid, Immuni-Tea, Immuni-Fire, Golden Fire

🍬

Natural Sweetness

Honey replaces refined sugar in these blends. It is still a sugar, and we are transparent about that — the difference is flavour depth and the way it balances bitter turmeric and hot cayenne.

🥵

Rounds Out The Heat

This is honey's most important job in our formulas. It moderates cayenne's burn and turmeric's bitterness so a genuinely spicy drink stays drinkable every day.

⚡

Fast Carbohydrate

Honey is largely fructose and glucose, so it provides quick carbohydrate — useful around training, and the reason these drinks are not zero-energy.

🧴

Mouthfeel

Honey adds body and a smooth texture that water-thin juice lacks, which matters a lot in a small bottle.

Honey should not be given to infants under 12 months. Our juices are also unpasteurised — see the guidance on our contact page.

Turmeric

Used in: Golden Fire

Turmeric's yellow pigment is curcumin, and curcumin is notoriously hard for the body to absorb on its own. That single fact explains most turmeric traditions — and it is the reason Golden Fire pairs fresh turmeric with cayenne rather than bottling turmeric alone.

Compounds in pungent spices (capsaicin in chilli, piperine in black pepper) have been shown to change how the body handles curcumin, slowing the pathways that clear it quickly. That pairing — not a dose — is what Golden Fire is built around.

🌟

Curcumin

The compound that gives turmeric its colour and most of the interest around it. In food amounts it is poorly absorbed without a pungent companion ingredient.

🦴

Fresh-Pressed Root

We press fresh turmeric rather than using powder or capsules, so the drink gets its colour and earthy flavour from the actual root.

🍽️

Best With Food

Turmeric drinks generally land better alongside a meal than on an empty stomach. That is how most people drink Golden Fire.

Turmeric can interact with certain medications, including some blood thinners. Check with your doctor or dietitian if you take regular medication.

Turmeric and cayenne

Cayenne Pepper

Used in: Immuni-Fire, Golden Fire

🔥

Capsaicin

The compound that makes chilli peppers hot. It is what you taste in Immuni-Fire, and the traditional companion to turmeric in Golden Fire.

🌡️

Real Heat

Capsaicin binds to heat and pain receptors in the mouth, which is why spicy drinks feel physically warming. That sensation is the point of this ingredient.

🧪

Curcumin Pairing

Chilli and black pepper have been shown to alter curcumin handling in the body. Cayenne plays that role alongside turmeric in Golden Fire.

👅

Balanced By Honey

A raw cayenne dose would be undrinkable. Honey and lemon moderate the burn so the heat stays enjoyable rather than punishing.

❄️

A Winter Drink

Most of our cayenne sales come in cold months — people choose it as a warming drink, and that is genuinely what it delivers.

⚠️

Worth Knowing

Spicy drinks can aggravate reflux or a sensitive stomach. Start with Immuni-Tea (no cayenne) if you are unsure, and see a doctor if you have ongoing symptoms.

Celery Juice

Used in: Straight Celery

Fresh celery

Straight Celery is the simplest product in the range: one ingredient, nothing added. It is popular partly because of social-media "celery week" routines, but the honest appeal is narrower — it is a savoury, salty-tasting morning drink for people who do not want anything sweet.

🥬

Single Ingredient

Pure pressed celery. No lemon, no ginger, no water added — the point of the product is that it is undiluted.

💧

Naturally Hydrating

Celery is about 95% water and contains natural electrolytes including potassium, which is why it drinks well first thing in the morning.

🧂

Savoury, Not Sweet

Celery juice has a distinctive salty, grassy flavour. It is the least sweet drink we make and the one that divides opinion the most.

🌅

Morning Routine

The seven-day celery routine is popular as a habit-building exercise — one consistent thing done every morning for a week. It is a routine, not a treatment protocol.

Celery contains naturally occurring compounds such as phthalides and luteolin. We do not make claims about them treating any condition. If you are managing a health condition or take medication, speak to your doctor.

Which Product Suits Which Routine

Beetroid around gym days. Immuni-Tea as a smooth morning drink. Immuni-Fire when you want heat. Golden Fire with meals. Celery before breakfast. Watermelon on hot days.
